ND’s Spring Break Plans
Spring is filled with sunshine, rain, and flowers, so what better way to spend it than taking some fun trips! So many events happen throughout the last three months of spring, allowing students to take a much needed break from all the chaos that follows moving to the next grade, or even graduating. From April 18 to April 27, spring break will take place, meaning that many students will embark on family trips while others will stay in the comfort of San Jose. Students are visiting places like Japan, Disneyland, resorts, and a variety of places outside and inside the country!
In California, several people are spending their week-long break by taking up popular vacation destinations. Lily Admos ‘27 and Megan Campbell ‘27 are both going to Universal Studios in Los Angeles. Admos mentioned how she's “going on a trip to SoCal with my friend for a Girl Scout trip,” while Campbell said she's “going to Universal Studios in Los Angeles with my family!” Likewise, Maha Kaleel ‘28 said she's going to “Los Angeles,” while Anya Shah ‘28 wrote how she’s, “going to Great Wolf Lodge Water Park!” While there are so many places to visit in California, there are a variety of places to visit outside the state.
Outside of the country, Fiona Canfield ‘28 and Dalala Bibi ‘27 are both going to Japan! Along with them, Ava Ramirez ‘28 mentions how she's going to “Mexico” while Nandana Nambiar ‘27 is going to “Los Cabos” over the week! Another student going out of the country is Rio Funatsu ‘25 who mentioned, “I'm going to Portugal with my parents!”
Spring break is a time to relax before the end of the school year, one last moment to take in the final moments before summer. Sometimes, even getting to catch up on household chores or getting more hours at work is enough to rewind. While it can be relaxing for some, there are also students that are devoting the break to catching up on missing assignments and studying for AP tests that take place after break. Whatever it may be, students around campus are sure excited to have over a week off from school!
