Chloé Guerrand is a senior in their third and final year writing for Crown and Shield! They have been writing for as long as they can remember, but besides that, they enjoy learning new things, going on hikes in nature, and listening to music.

Ayra Govil is a junior in her second year with ND Journalism. She has always been enamored with writing since a little girl and loves crafting stories, whether in poetry form or short stories. In her free time she plays volleyball and always finds herself picking up a book. She is thrilled to be a part of the journalism community and cannot wait to learn new things.

Wren Nakamura is a sophomore in her first year of journalism! She is currently the Online Assistant Editor-in-Chief for the Crown and Shield, and is interested in pursuing journalism as a career! Aside from writing, she loves reading, birdwatching, and doing work in cafés with a good iced coffee by her side.

Molly Kaplan is the Print Editor-in-Chief, and a senior at Notre Dame. She has a profound interest in journalism, which she has deeply explored the last three years. As the EIC, she hopes to inspire the same passion she has for the subject in younger writers, and is excited to watch the group grow! This past summer, she spent four weeks immersed in all types of journalism at the Medill-Northwestern Journalism Institute. There, as a cherub, she was involved in broadcasting, audio, writing and film journalism, it was the best summer of her life! In the future, she plans to be a reporter, although she's not sure what she wants to report on, she is ready to keep exploring.

Claire Tran is a junior at Notre Dame in her first year of Journalism. She is looking forward to expressing her creativity through her articles for Crown and Shield on topics that she is passionate, especially the arts and entertainment and social justice issues. Outside of journalism, Claire enjoys going to concerts, singing, watching older rom-coms, eating Hawaiian poké, and sipping on iced coffees while also spending a majority of her time listening to indie folk music or R&B.
