Fall TV Guide

Autumn is one of the most enchanting times of the year. The crisp air, cozy fire, and bright orange leaves give you a warm, fuzzy feeling inside. But fall isn’t complete without the shows and movies you binge-watch during the season.

Friends

Friends is one of the best shows to watch during the fall. The lighthearted humor and comforting, close friendships (and romances) between Ross, Rachel, Monica, Chandler, Phoebe, and Joey makes “Friends” perfect to watch on a chilly fall night.

Stranger Things

As Halloween approaches, “Stranger Things” is the perfect thing to watch. The lives of six kids are turned upside-down when they find their town to be haunted by monsters. The supernatural creatures, mixed with the 80s style and humor are sure to get you in the Halloween spirit.

Little Women

“Little Women” has romance, friendship, and family–all the elements you’d want in a film to watch for a fall movie night. Four ambitious sisters–Jo, Amy, Meg, and Beth–all have very different big hopes and dreams. Jo wants to be a writer, Amy wants to be a painter, Meg wants to be a homemaker, and Beth wants to take care of her parents in their old age. The movie has family, romance, and a mix of heartbreaking and heartwarming moments.

Coco

“Coco” is an autumn must-watch, with its association with the Day of the Dead, or Dia De Los Muertos, which falls right around November. “Coco” is about Miguel, a boy who dreams of being a musician, despite his family’s disapproval of music. Determined to prove himself, Miguel ends up in the Land of the Dead, where he makes a new friend. The two embark on a journey to discover Miguel’s family history. This one’s sure to bring you to tears!

Harry Potter

The Harry Potter movie franchise is perfect for a movie marathon in the fall. Travel along with Harry as he grows up and faces challenges bigger than the last, with the help of his two best friends Ron and Hermione. The elaborate Halloween celebration at Hogwarts never gets old, and the adventure and magic never fail to excite you.

Hocus Pocus

What says “Halloween” more than “Hocus Pocus”? 300 years after the Sanderson sisters have been punished for performing witchcraft, a new kid moves into town and accidentally lights the candle that brings the sisters back to life. The spookiness of the three sisters mixed with their humor makes Hocus Pocus perfect to watch on Halloween. And if you enjoy this one, be sure to catch the sequel on Disney Plus!

Gilmore Girls

It isn’t fall without the Gilmore girls! It always seems to be autumn in the fictional town of Stars Hollow, where Lorelai Gilmore and her teenage daughter Rory live. The fast-talking mother-daughter duo balance life, love, work, and school, all while consuming a whole lot of coffee. All the sweaters, orange tones, and flannels are sure to remind you of fall.

Now that you know what to watch this season, bundle up, pop some popcorn and queue up your TV!
