“Christmas Day at my parents' house to gather with my extended family.” -Jessica Angelo, Mathematics Teacher

“My family and I often celebrate Christmas with my grandparents and not just my immediate family.” -Anonymous

“We go to Oregon for a week - to ski and to spend time with family and friends.” - Olena Petrova, Physics Teacher

“I spend every Christmas in my pajamas and bathrobe until after the big Christmas lunch. Also, if I'm with my family, my Mom makes my favorite breakfast, blueberry buckle. This has been our tradition since I was in grade school.” -Bryan Ringsted, Theater Director and Drama Teacher

“[I celebrate] Eid-ul-Fitr and Eid-ul-Adha” -Mehreen Shaikh ‘24

Have a great winter break!

I love writing and learning about social justice! My favorite thing about journalism is the community and the writing environment. Since I was young, I've loved writing poetry and journalism, and I'm published in a couple of anthologies and a magazine. Some things I like to do in my free time are playing volleyball, baking, going hiking, and coding.
