Best On-Demand Streaming Services to Sign Up For

With more streaming services being released every year, cutting the cable has never been easier. There are plenty of subscription platforms available to select from with differing features and prices. Many of these services include original movies and shows. Not sure of which service is the best fit?  Here are the best streaming services: 

Netflix 

This popular on-demand service has a long list of original shows that can not be found anywhere else. Some of Netflix’s most popular originals include “Stranger Things”, “Never Have I Ever”, and “Fuller House.”  You can find several international shows as well. A free trial is available allowing you to test Netflix for a month before paying. Netflix has several subscription options. The basic streaming plan costs $8.99 per month, but only allows the use of one screen at a time. The standard streaming plan costs $12.99 per month and allows two devices to be used at once. The premium plan costs $15.99 per month, which allows the use of four screens at once (ideal for a large family). 

Disney Plus

Disney Plus is an ad-free entertainment program where customers can stream Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, and National Geographic films and series. The platform includes many classic films and new exclusive content. Disney Plus costs $6.99 per month or $69.99 per year. Before committing to the payment, customers are given a free seven-day trial. 

Hulu

This on-demand platform provides access to many TV shows and movies. Hulu’s original shows include “The Handmaid’s Tale” and “Castle Rock.” This service costs $5.99 per month with ads or $11.99 per month without ads. The payment plan is also available as a bundle with Disney Plus and ESPN for $12.99 per month; that is $5 cheaper than paying for each program separately. 

Amazon Prime Video

Amazon Prime Video is packaged with the Amazon Prime subscription. This service offers several TV series and movies. The cost of Prime Video itself is $8.99 per month. With an Amazon Prime membership comes access to Prime Video, customers will be able to stream Amazon’s original content, as well as a library of films and shows.
