Decorating Your Room on a Budget

Our room is our place. We laugh, we dance, we sing, we cry there. It is completely our own, which means we should decorate it as our own. However, finding beautiful decorations can be costly, and watching the price climb can stop you from decorating your room the way you want to. Nevertheless, there are great ways to decorate your room on a budget. Adding LED twinkle lights to your walls can really enhance the ambiance of your room and add to the aesthetic aspect. They can brighten up your room and also add a sense of the night sky to your roof. Most twinkle lights range from $10-$20, and they are easily found in regular department stores or found online. Another great way to personalize your room is to create a photo collage on your walls. Gather all of your favorite photos and print them at your local drugstore or even in your own home. You can then arrange them any way you want in your room to add a sense of good memories and great times to your space. You can also use old Polaroids or any old photos you have, and pairing the photos with the twinkle lights is also a great way to heighten the photos from the rest of your room.  To add accents to your room, go shopping for pillows or tapestries that can really make your room pop. Thrift stores are a great place to find colorful pillows or other pieces of furniture than can fit in your room well and also gives it a great sense of your own personal touch. The furniture can also come into use in several different ways, such as a mirror needed to get ready in the morning. Adding an artistic flair to your room is an amazing way to express yourself in your way in your own space. With either wallpaper or your own paints and paintbrushes, create an art piece right on your own walls that screams you. You can even make it a whole project for you and your friends as art is a great way to build a stronger connection with those around you. Everyone wants to decorate their room in their own way because it is the place they always end back up in at the end of the day. These ideas are great ways to achieve this without having to empty out your bank account.
