Fall Activities

With the fall season coming up, people everywhere are buzzing with excitement from the cooling weather and thoughts of delicious fall treats. For kids in the Bay Area, there are many appealing activities that can get you in the fall spirit. One popular attraction is Great America, which offers different types of fall-themed events. At this time of the year, Great America offers the Great Pumpkin Fest which includes going through a hay maze, decorating pumpkins, or spending time in a pumpkin patch. Another Great America event is Halloween Haunt. Directed towards a younger audience, Haunt allows visitors to be immersed in an interactive, spooky experience. From haunted houses and mazes, to actors scaring people throughout the park, Haunt is meant for the people that love the scary side of the Halloween spirit. Another popular event for many kids is a pumpkin patch, an event that can be enjoyed by all ages. One popular East Bay pumpkin patch is the Speer Family Farms. At the farm, visitors can go to a petting zoo and look for locally grown pumpkins. Even if you are not in the mood to leave the house, simple activities with your friends can get you in the fall spirit. Try baking fall treats with your friends, or watch your favorite Halloween movies. Overall, the fall season is a great time for people to spend time with friends and family and enjoy the changing weather.
