Hiking: A Pathway to Reflection

It’s easy to get caught up in school work and other responsibilities, losing touch with the beauty of the world. What better way to unwind than by taking a peaceful hike through nature and becoming immersed in the Earth’s wonders? Established in 1872, Alum Rock Park, California’s oldest municipal park provides the perfect escape, an ideal place to hike, allowing you to reconnect with nature and yourself.

Alum Rock Park’s mineral springs are truly sights to behold! However their sulfur scent may not be everyone’s cup of tea. They were once believed to have healing properties as the park used to be a health resort from 1890 to 1932.

On a hike, one of the most beautiful things to encounter is an open field with flowers. Their pleasant aroma allows for pure relaxation.
